The 2025 Conservative Party of Canada national campaign suffered a historic collapse under the management of Jenni Byrne.

Pierre Poilievre’s messaging on affordability, housing, crime, resource development, cultural issues, and the economy led to massive inroads with new Conservative voters.

But it was all thrown away when the national campaign blew it—letting a 20-point lead in the polls evaporate while the campaign flailed. A rejuvenated Liberals will now govern with a rump NDP caucus propping them up—and Canadians will have to pay the price.

Rather than keeping the party united from coast-to-coast-to-coast, infighting and backstabbing among party operatives distracted from the critical nuts-and-bolts of campaigning.

The humiliation was sealed when leader Pierre Poilievre lost his own seat in Carleton. How could the national campaign be so distracted that the leader’s seat was even in contention?

In addition to the loss of the leader’s seat, another 11 incumbent ridings were lost by the Conservatives to the Liberals.

This is the result of a disorganized and unfocused campaign.

These lost seats were the difference between a tie in seats with the Liberals and the result that we got…

Results as of 1pm EST April 29, 2025:

If Conservatives had held the 12 incumbent seats that were lost:
